Xianfeng Fruit East China Smart Cold Chain Project

Traditional cold storage warehouses suffer from dense column grids and low space utilization, a persistent challenge in cold chain logistics. The Xianfeng Fruit East China Smart Cold Chain Project, the world's largest single-building cold chain logistics park for fruit, invested CNY 250 million and covers 60,000 m². BICP, in collaboration with Huashang International Engineering, applied the Taiku low-carbon innovative building structure solution. Compared to traditional design (approx. 1,800 pallet positions), the Taiku system achieves approx. 2,100 pallet positions, increasing storage capacity by 16.7%. This solution has been applied in over 300 cold chain logistics centers nationwide, improving operational efficiency through post-tensioned structures, integrated flooring, and AI-powered engineering project digital management platform.
