Chengdu Airbus Full Lifecycle Project – Post-Tensioned Floor
BICP client interview: Chengdu Airbus Aircraft Full Lifecycle Service Project post-tensioned integrated floor.
The general contractor is China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, and the designer is China Aviation Planning and Design Institute. The site has complex geological conditions and large single-bay areas, requiring a low-joint floor for heavy aircraft loads. As the post-tensioned floor subcontractor, BICP proposed the Taiping ultra-long joint-free floor solution, enhancing the integrity and long-term stability of the large-area, high-load floor. The project has been completed and is in operation, with the post-tensioned floor performing well and all technical indicators stable.
